PROFILE

Nakrob Moonmanas works mainly with the medium of collage. His interest lies in historical memories, which he tries to reveal, play and question in several aspects. Through the pictorial archives across multiple times and places, his artworks juxtapose local and outlandish fragments of history and visual culture to create an alternative narrative, which leads to a state of re-examining the past. Recent exhibitions he has participated in include Bangkok Art Biennale 2022; Timirbhu: The New World Order (2022, The Jim Thompson Art Center, Bangkok); and Doxa & Episteme – In Search of the Real Deal (2024, Mizuma Gallery, Singapore).
