The Spirits of Maritime Crossing, a Collateral Event of the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, is now open! April 18, 2024: Opening ceremony at Palazzo Smith Mangilli Valmarana, Venice. The event saw a great turnout and featured:

• An Artist Talk in Collaboration with ArtReview
• Welcoming remarks by Simone Venturini, Deputy Mayor Assessore; H.E. Paoli Dionisi, Ambassador of Italy to Thailand; Kundhinee Aksornwong, Charge d’Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy of Rome; and Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chairman of the Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation and CEO of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited.
• A mesmerizing Thai dance performance by Pichet Klunchun, seamlessly blending classical and contemporary styles.

April 20th - November 24th, 2024: Explore a constellation of artworks delving into cultural flows, the symbolism of water, and uncharted territories. The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, mixed-media, and video installations exploring themes such as displacement, diaspora, colonialism, and the hybridity of Southeast Asian cultures.
